Levi Hibbert / LXVI is a London-based Creative Director, multidisciplinary artist and researcher with over a decade of experience developing brands, cultural platforms, campaigns and multidisciplinary creative experiences.

Their practice spans creative direction, brand development, film, visual art, performance and immersive media, bringing together cultural insight, research and experimentation to develop ideas that connect audiences, communities and brands.

As Founder and Creative Director of SK!NT, Levi has led the platform's creative identity and evolution since 2012, overseeing brand architecture, visual direction, campaigns, event concepts and cultural programming across London and the Netherlands.

ARTISTIC STATEMENT

Levi's artistic practice explores Black queer identity, masculinity, nightlife and the ways bodies are seen, performed and interpreted within physical and digital spaces.

Working through montage and fragmentation, Levi brings together film, music, performance, movement, archive and visual art to construct layered worlds from seemingly disconnected material. Rather than treating these disciplines separately, their practice uses the collisions between them as a method of storytelling.

Increasingly, Levi's work explores how these methods can move beyond the screen and stage into immersive and augmented environments. Through installation, projection and AR/VR experimentation, their practice asks how audiences might not simply watch a performance, but move through and encounter its fragments.

Drawing from Black and queer cultural histories alongside the nightlife cultures of London, Amsterdam and Paris, the work challenges established representations of Black masculinity and queer identity while creating alternative forms of spectatorship, visibility and connection.
